The People Behind Platinum
Hollykay Drinkard
Owner / Founder
Platinum Roofing and Construction was founded in 2018 by Hollykay, an Idaho native with over 30 years of industry experience. Hollykay's early fascination with her father's commercial excavation company and her later success as a real estate advisor, led her to cultivate a well-rounded understanding of all aspects of construction.
After partnering with her husband, a second-generation owner of a local roofing company, she was called by her entrepreneurial spirit to pursue her own endeavor, and thus, Platinum was established. Hollykay continues to challenge the industry status quo, empower women in her community, and provide a creative approach to roofing while leading her team with integrity.
Dave McDonald
Superintendent
Dave McDonald is the one who oversees Platinum projects and ensures their safe, on time delivery. Dave brings over 50 years of hands-on experience in the industry. He leverages the knowledge he's accumulated throughout his career in roofing to help the team stay on task, provide quality applications, and meet production requirements.
Lynn Calvin
Marketing & Industry Stats
Lynn Calvin, career marketer and owner of PUSH Marketing, is an integral part of Platinum's PR and strategic initiatives. As a dedicated part of the team with a penchant for details, Lynn manages Platinum's social media and press, while keeping her finger on the pulse of trends across the roofing industry to ensure we never miss a beat.

Gabe Steinauer was born and raised in Washington state. He has been in the Roofing industry for over five years. Three of which he has dominated door canvassing in Idaho. Gabe moved to Idaho in 2022, to be with Kayle, and together celebrated their first child in 2023. Gabe is a basketball enthusiast, a 3rd generation hound hunter and stated "The woods are my second home".
